Who We are

In 2011, Lisa initially began cleaning homes because it was something that fit well with her family and schedule – the original plan was to have small list of personal clients in order to keep herself busy.

She did a bit of advertising and gained her first few clients - however the client list immediately began to grow through referrals – we believe because it was due to superb attention to detail and a very professional level of service, but also because Lisa is great person to deal with.

Soon Lisa began hiring help in order to keep up with the demand. Instead of returning to her office job she instead decided to focus all of her time on POSH – with the goal of turning the fledging operation into a reputable home cleaning service. Lisa’s husband, Ryan, now manages the business side of the business - which allows Lisa to focus on customers and employees.

POSH is interested in growth as a business however the original key to success remains paramount: The ultimate in Quality Service and Professionalism. We understand that this can only come from building the business one brick at a time and always making sure each customer is receiving value for every dollar they spend with us.

Since 2011 POSH has grown exponentially to become Ontario’s leading provider of professional home cleaning services. POSH has won several recognitions from the community - including being the OBAA winner in 2016 (Ontario Business Achievement Award) and being named one of Hamilton’s ‘FAST40’ - one of the cities 40 fastest growing businesses.

A tremendous amount of effort has been placed on raising the company beyond industry standards. This includes everything from proper liability and bonding insurance, to detailed employment screening and training, to constant research and improvement of cleaning equipment and techniques.

POSH does clean some commercial spaces – these are smaller spaces such as salons, architects offices or Doctors offices. They are small enough that we can bring the personal touch of residential cleaning, along with the attention to detail. Most all are private businesses, and many of them also have their homes serviced by POSH.

We seek long-term clients who continue to use our services because they are overly satisfied.

POSH is a proud partner of Cleaning for a Reason - a non-profit dedicated to improving the lives of women undergoing cancer treatment, any type of cancer. Fighting cancer is difficult enough, but living with it is even tougher. POSH offers cleanings services free of charge to these patients, allowing them to focus more on getting better.

Cleaning for a Reason is a non-profit serving the entire United States and Canada, to date the organization has helped more than 9,000 women with cancer with more than $1 million in donated cleanings.
